Child protection at heart of courts review

Review will examine how courts balance child safety and right to family life.

We can't help feeling this is another delay tactic. So many apparent changes have been made like PD12J yet on the ground, nothing has changed. The mindset of professionals is the same-presumption of contact, ignoring abuse, not listening to mothers or children. The same out-of-date attitudes, victim blaming, demonising of mothers, brutal attitude to care of children. Changes have been urgent for a long time yet those in power drag their feet while more children suffer.
