We can't help feeling this is another delay tactic. So many apparent changes have been made like PD12J yet on the ground, nothing has changed. The mindset of professionals is the same-presumption of contact, ignoring abuse, not listening to mothers or children. The same out-of-date attitudes, victim blaming, demonising of mothers, brutal attitude to care of children. Changes have been urgent for a long time yet those in power drag their feet while more children suffer.
